Due to shipping limitations of some brands, your order may need to be routed through our facility in Seattle, WA. If this happens, you will receive 2 tracking numbers. The first from the supplier to our facility, and then a 2nd tracking number from our facility to you. Once an order arrives at our facility it is inspected and reshipped within 1 business day.
Please note the following:
- We ship to the Southern Canadian provinces. We are not currently able to ship to Northwest Territories, Yukon, or Nunavut.
- For brands not included in this promotion, there is a 10% charge for processing and you are responsible for all Duty, Brokerage, and Taxes for your order.
- IMPORTANT: Hubbardton Forge products ship absolutely free to Canada, however, due to manufacturer restrictions we are unable to cover the Goods and Services Tax (GST) or Provincial Sales Tax (PST) when applicable. Frequently Asked Questions about our Canada Program
Q: What is the $20 charge for?
A: The $20 fee covers the additional costs we incur for filing customs paperwork, and reshipping most orders via our trans ship facilities. We take care of all Duty, Brokerage, and Taxes so there is no hassle for you. The order will ship to your door.
Q: Can you ship my order USPS?
A: At this time, we are unable to ship orders via USPS. We ship UPS, FedEx, Purolator, or Freight depending on what is the safest and best method for your order.
Q: What if I order form a line not participating in your Canada Program?
A: Lines that are not participating in our Canada Program will require you to pay Duty, Brokerage, and Taxes to clear customs. You may need to arrange for a Broker once the order reaches the border. The $20 documentation fee is still incurred even if you are ording from a non-participating line of products.
By ordering goods from Belami Inc, I hereby authorize UPS (a licensed Canadian customs broker name) chosen by Belami Inc to act as my agent, and to transact business with the CBSA (Canada Border Services Agency) to clear my merchandise, account for duties and taxes, to return merchandise to Belami Inc, and prepare and submit refund claims on my behalf for any merchandise that I return. I understand that the CBSA will send any refund of duties and taxes that were paid on the returned merchandise to the broker, and that I will obtain the refund directly from Belami Inc. In this connection, I also authorize the customs broker to endorse any refund cheque issued by the CBSA in my name, so that Belami Inc can be reimbursed .
PST Processing/Calculations and Self-Assessing
- "Belami Inc." will collect and remit PST for residents of the Province of Import only. (British Columbia)
- “Belami Inc.” will collect and remit HST for residents of the following Provinces (Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Ontario)
- For residents of PEI, Quebec, Manitoba, Sask, you will have to Self-Assess with your respective Provincial Gov’t for payment of PST amounts owing.
